LIGHT AND MUD

Light and Mud is a Mexican American art company led by yours truly, Sofía Rosales Juárez—an educator, artist, writer and art therapist.

My long-term mission is to empower the Mexican immigrant community—especially women—to heal generational and violent trauma and learn to love and accept themselves. We do this through art, mindfulness and reconnecting with our bodies.

I teach self-care art classes through my program, Desahógate. I also take professional photographs and sell my ceramics.
